Wapsi Camping

We went camping at Wapsipinicon State Park in Anamosa, IA. We took little Jez and fished, rode bikes, and explored a cave. It is so great to be able to enjoy the beauty of the things God created for us. As you can see in the pics below our God is an indescribable artist!

Picnic Time

July 12, 2009 we went for a picnic at Noelridge Park. We packed our PB&J's and headed out with little Jez. It was a beautiful day and Jez had a great time running around!

July 4, 2009

On July 4 Trenton, Daddy, and I decided to go to a Five Seasons Ski Team Show and watch fireworks that night. The ski team show takes place frequently during the summer at Ellis Park in Cedar Rapids. Last year (2008) was the first time the show had not taken place for a long time due to the floods, so this years show was quite busy! As you can see from the pictures below there are many talented people that are involved. The ages of the people skiing start at a young age (preteens) on up to adults. There were several boats involved and one of our neighbors down the street actually drives one! It was also a gorgeous day out so you will also see some scenery pics below. Enjoy!

We watched fireworks in Grandma O'Connor's front yard. They were being shot from a golf course that was across the street.
