Dragon Boat Race

The dragon boat race is part of the freedom festival every year. 2008's dragon boat races were cancelled due to the flood so this years was an even bigger deal. The boats are made out of cardboard and have to be paddled upstream and the 1st boat of the group that makes it wins. It is quite comical as you can see!

Fishing in Palo in June 2009

At the end of June we took another fishing trip to Palo. Daddy, Cocoa, and Katrina came along with us to check it out! Again we caught a ton of bass and the dogs had a great time!

Balloon Glow 2009

The balloon glow was part of the Freedom Festival. It is held at the Brucemore Mansion in town. This year Daddy was in town so we all went and watched June 25, 2009! It was neat to see, but crazy to think SO many people were out there!
