Kristen and Jason's wedding took place on December 29, 2007 (5 months and 1 day after ours)! As you can see, Kristen kept us busy in December '07 (but a very happy, good busy)! The wedding took place at Bethlehem United Methodist Church. This is the church that Grandmama and Daddy's bunch still attend. Mama and her family also grew up in this church. Our family has very special ties with this church and the church family. December was a very special and joyful month for our family.

On December 14, 2007 MTSU's Nursing program held their pinning ceremony for their graduates. The following Day on December 15, 2007 those same graduates proceeded down the aisle to collect their hard-earned diploma. Congratulations Kristen Dawn!

Kristen's Bachelorette Party took place on December 8, 2007. We opened gifts and ate dinner at our house, and then headed to support the Nashville Predators, followed by a delicious chocolate dessert at the melting pot!

Honeymoon Time

For the honeymoon, we went to Monterey, TN and stayed at Two's Company. Two's Company is a cabin that is owned by a Mennonite Family and surrounded by a Mennonite Community. The actual cabin was in a secluded field that had a stocked catfish pond. It was the ideal place to get away. I highly recommend having a romantic getaway here! The Beginning of Our Life Together

Trenton and I tied the knot after a year of dating and knowing that this was what God really wanted for us. We met in a couple of classes that we attended (or should I say I attended, since Trenton skipped several classes!) . He actually helped tutor me and I in return offered him my notes for the classes he always missed. A friend of ours in one of the classes always told me everytime he walked into the room that we would get married someday. I just looked at her like she was out of her mind. To make a long story short, Trenton proposed Memorial day weekend 2007 on one of our camping trips with Kristen and Jason. The amazing wedding took place a short couple of months later with the wonderful help of many family and friends. This was the beginning of an amazing journey in Christ that Trenton and I now encounter day to day.
