In Pella, Iowa each May they have a Tulip Festival. The festival celebrates their town and the history of the town. The town has a touch of Holland. The tulips they have planted are from Holland. It is a beautiful town and festival that brings people in from everywhere. There was even someone from Holland on the day we were there!
In the Dutch Market they had many people that had booths set-up trying to sell crafts, food, and drinks.
See the spot in the middle of Trenton's forehead? That is where he hit himself in the head with his hammer at work one day! Oops!?! Guess he got a little carried away!
Wooden clogs are huge at the festival. Tons of people were wearing them. These are some giant wooden clogs that were in front of one of the windmills.

Tulip time platform. They were doing a little play and then the platform is where the Tulip Queen and her attendants came and sat to watch the parade.
The following pictures are from the parade. At the beginning of the parade they had street sweepers come out and sweep the streets to clean it for the queen and her attendants to come out.
